If you have to work full-time while going to school, make sure to attach some reasonable conditions (if possible) to your full-time work requirements:
- Permission to leave work to make it to school on time
- Flexible schedule to be able to schedule the needed classes
- Understanding that you will be a little more tired as usual
- General support for your educational efforts and goals
- Ideally, full or partial tuition reimbursement and/or promise of promotion upon your graduation
Also do what you can to earn enough in your job to be able to afford school and your reasonable lifer style: students, who have not met their basic needs, do not do well in school:
